Terms and Conditions of Use

The Terms of Use for Cameroonian users are a set of rules governing the use of the Obryl.com platform. This legal contract is mandatory for you and Obryl.com as soon as you use the platform. The terms "Obryl.com", "we", "our" or "us" refer to the Obryl.com entity providing you with the platform and entering into an agreement with you.

Obryl.com is an online accommodation booking platform in Cameroon. Users of this platform called "Members" can publish, offer, search, and book services. Persons publishing and offering services are called "Hosts" and those searching, booking, or using services are called "Travelers".

It is important to note that Obryl.com, as a provider of this platform, does not own or manage any listings, host services, or tourist services. Obryl.com will not participate in the direct conclusion of any contracts between Members.

Other supplementary Terms and Policies also apply to these Terms, such as our Privacy Policy, which describes our collection and use of personal data, and our Payment Terms.

Our mission consists of creating an environment where everyone can feel at home, wherever they are. Through our platform, Travelers have access to millions of Listings offering different types of Host Services, such as Accommodations, Experiences, or travel services.

Search: You can search for accommodation services on Obryl.com using criteria such as service type, travel destination, dates, and number of travelers.

Booking: When you book an accommodation service on Obryl.com, you agree to pay all fees related to your booking, including the price set by the host, applicable Obryl.com service fees, and taxes.

If you need to cancel your booking, you must comply with the cancellation policy applicable to the Listing. However, in certain circumstances, other policies apply, such as our Force Majeure Policy.

As a Traveler, you are responsible for your own actions and those of anyone you invite to use a Host Service with you. You must treat the Accommodation and associated property with respect.

Host: As a Host, Obryl allows you to share your Accommodation, Experience, or Host Service with the Traveler community and earn money doing so.

Obryl provides tools to create and manage your listing, including complete and accurate information about your host service, pricing, and availability calendar.

As a host, you are responsible for complying with applicable laws regarding reporting, collecting, and remitting all applicable taxes.

After each Host Service, Travelers and Hosts have the opportunity to leave each other accurate, respectful reviews.

Certain parts of the platform allow you to provide feedback, text, photos, and other content.

You must respect these rules and act with integrity, non-discrimination, technical security, and transparent transactions.

You can terminate this contract at any time by sending an email or deleting your account.

When we propose modifications to these terms, we will publish them on the Obryl.com platform and update the last modified date.

If a dispute arises, we encourage members to resolve it amicably. Competent courts of the Republic of Cameroon shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Obryl provides a platform allowing Members to publish, offer, search, and book Host Services. We are not a party to contracts concluded between members.

To access platform features, you must create an account providing accurate and complete information.

Obryl incorporates a real-time messaging and chat module enabling Travelers and Hosts to communicate directly and instantly.

Obryl sends real-time notifications and uses secure webhook gateways to immediately validate your Mobile Money transactions.

Account security is a top priority. In addition to traditional credentials, Obryl.com supports two-factor authentication and biometric Passkeys for secure access to sensitive actions.
